1. Worldwide Talent Visa (subclass 858)

Additionally, you must be able to command a salary that exceeds the high-income requirement of AUD162,000. On July 1st of each year, this amount is revised.

The Global Talent Visa does not have an age restriction, but if you are older than 55, the Department of Home Affairs demands that an exceptional contribution to the Australian community be proven.

2. Parental Visas

There are several parent visas available to parents of Australian citizens and permanent residents, as well as Eligible New Zealand (ENZ) citizens:

Aged Parent visa (subclass 804): You must be of retirement age in Australia.

Contributory Aged Parent visas (subclasses 864 and 884): You must be of pensionable age in Australia.

The stream under which you apply will determine the conditions you must complete for the subclass 188 visa:

You wish to start, grow, and manage a new or existing firm in Australia through the business innovation path.

Investor stream: You intend to continue conducting business and making investments in Australia while making a designated investment of at least AU$2.5 million in a state or territory of Australia.

Significant Investor Stream: You are prepared to maintain business and investment activities in Australia while investing at least AU$5 million into compliant investments.

Entrepreneur stream: For startup and early-stage business owners who have received endorsements from State or Territory government organizations to develop their projects.

For the Business Innovation, Investor, and Entrepreneur tracks, you must be under 55 years old. Don’t wait too long to apply if you are already 50 years old because that is not much older than 50.
