Visa for Global Talent (subclass 858)
The Global People Visa is designed to draw the best and brightest talent from around the world to Australia in order to boost its economy. If you have a high level of expertise in one of these 10 target industries, you may apply:
• Resources
• agtech and agrifood
• Energy
• Sectors of the Health
• Space, defense, and advanced manufacturing
• cyclical economy
• DigiTech
• Facilities and tourism
• monetary operations and fintech
• Education
Additionally, you must be able to command a salary that exceeds the high-income requirement of AUD162,000. On July 1st of each year, this amount is revised.
The Global Talent Visa does not have an age restriction, but if you are older than 55, the Department of Home Affairs demands that an exceptional contribution to the Australian community be proven.
Parent Visas
There are several parent visas available to the parents of Australian citizens and permanent residents and Eligible New Zealand (ENZ) citizens:
• Aged Parent visa (subclass 804): You must be old enough to receive the age pension in Australia.
• Contributory Aged Parent visas (subclasses 864 and 884): You must be old enough to receive the age pension in Australia.
• Contributory Parent visas (subclasses 143 and 173): You must apply as a retiree.
• Parent visa (subclass 103): You must apply as a retiree.
• Sponsored Parent (Temporary) visa: You’ll need an approved Parent Sponsor to apply.

Business Investment and Innovation Visa (subclass 188)
The subclass 188 visa is a provisional visa valid for four years. It is the initial phase of obtaining permanent residency. You’ll use the Business Innovation and Investment Visa to submit an application for permanent residence (subclass 888).
Depending on the stream under which you apply, you must meet the following conditions for the subclass 188 visa:
- Business Advancement stream: You need to lay out, create and deal with a new or existing business in Australia.
- Financial backer stream: You need to make an assigned speculation of something like AU$2.5 million in an Australian state or domain and keep up with business and venture action in Australia.
- Critical Financial backer stream: You will put somewhere around AU$5 million into going along interests in Australia and keep up with business and venture movement in Australia.
- Business visionary stream: For startup and beginning phase business visionaries who have been supported to foster their ideas and been designated by a State or Region government office.
