A veterinary clinic in Queensland is looking for a vet who values a healthy work-life balance and effective leadership.

We are a privately operated, fully stocked veterinary practice that provides in-home consultations throughout the entire Gold Coast. The care of our patients and clients is something that our wonderful team of veterinarians, vet nurses, receptionists, and practice manager are passionate about.

In order to maintain a secure and happy work environment, we manage disputes sensitively and consistently try to maintain a cohesive team. Although we like what we do, we think that our sector needs to evolve.

You can choose to work in the clinic or in one of our mobile units, where a veterinary nurse can help with your house calls.

All the shiny things you might possibly need are available in our base clinic:

• dental radiography,
• blood test instruments Idexx,
• excellent dental tools,
• Electrocautery
• I.V. pumps, etc.

• perform surgical and medical treatments (including examination & diagnosis, pathological testing, procedures and surgeries, prescription & administration of medication)
• Participate in a cooperative effort with the team for the patient’s best outcome.

• You’ll have more time to spend with your patients (30min consults).
• Every step of the way, we work to manage our clients’ expectations because, in our line of work, communication is important.
• Our devoted receptionists have organized the appointment list carefully. They are quite good at answering the phone and dealing with picky customers.
• Our nurses have extensive patient care training. They can effectively manage difficult anaesthetics, offering you peace of mind throughout challenging surgeries.

If you conduct home consultations, your home base clinic will always be there to assist you with all the bells, whistles, technology, staff, and other necessities.

You’ll pass through the stunning Gold Shore environment as you travel from client to client, from the coast to the bush, and you’ll always find a wonderful coffee shop where you can stop for lunch (lunchtime is required!).

We can work around your schedule, your appointment list, how you want to organize your day, and any specific interests you may have.
